Webb6 aug. 2024 · This study investigates the seismic performance of steel frames equipped with a proposed self-centering damper, using shape-memory alloy (SMA) wires. For this purpose, incremental dynamic analyses are carried out on the steel frames of 3, 7, and 12 stories with self-centering dampers of different capacities.
