WebQui il sentiero è decisamente faticoso: si sale su terreno ghiaioso con un pendenza molto sostenuta fino ai 2683 del Passo Cirelle. Da qui con una serie di sali scende si punta il Passo Ombrettola (2836 m slm) tra l'omonima cima e il Sasso Vernale.
