Flash nanoprecipitation nanoemulsion
WebFlash nanoprecipitation (FNP) is a turbulent mixing process capable of reproducibly producing polymer nanoparticles loaded with active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). The nanoparticles produced with this method consist of a hydrophobic core surrounded by a hydrophilic corona. WebIn this study, nanoprecipitation, nanoemulsion and electrospray jetting techniques are used to produce the PLGA nanoparticles. The size is optimized for all three methods to provide the stable production of nanoparticles with similar size distributions.
