And you say you have it on your account in Steam, but that's not the same as registering it. WebFeb 21, 2024 · Launching using FFXIVBoot.exe, getting Error 0 On both my desktop and laptop, I've been running FFXIVBoot.exe, and then when I hit play, I get an error saying to run the game through FFXIVBoot.exe, despite doing precisely that. I had Error 6d, but it went away and was replaced with this error upon configuring MacType to ignore the game. WebDude, delete the 0 byte one, and rename the ffxivboot.bck to ffxivboot.exe and then try and run it. BCK is Backup ( in my experience ), the game backs up the old boot file incase this happens. WebI found the two executables and set the ffxivboot64 file to be run as an administrator and left the other one alone. Then I ran it through steam. It did not ask me for administrator permissions. To double check to make sure it would indeed activate, I turned off administrator mode for the clearly 64 bit file and swapped them. WebIf you can't find it in the default install location just search for "ffxivboot.exe" on your machine. This is the .exe that starts the Launcher.
