I'm using Obsidian android, and has folders, subfolders, files, Obsidian system files, etc. My idea was to encrypt the entire Obsidian vault folder, then upload it to dropbox. But when I try it it's painfully slow. The first note created works just fine. But I have to wait for 5+ minutes to be able to create a new note or folder.
WebIt’s currently not possible (neither with nor without Cryptomator). If you want end-to-end encrypted synchronization to your iPhone, you can use Obsidian Sync ($8 per month). Worth noting is that Obsidian Sync isn’t open source and hasn’t been audited by a third party. If you don’t need end-to-end encryption, you can use iCloud for free. 2 Reply
